यहां के राजकीय एलबीएस महाविद्यालय में गुरुवार को महिला प्रकोष्ठ एवं कैंपस प्लेसमेन्ट सैल के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में कृषि क्षेत्र में आधुनिक तकनीक, रेशम पालन एवं जैविक खेती विषय पर व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की मुख्य वक्ता डा.शौभा जोहरी ने बताया कि रेशम कीट के उत्पादन में आधुनिक तकनीक का उपयोग कर कम क्षेत्रफल में अधिक उत्पादन कर सकते हैं। प्राचार्य प्रो.आरके सिंह ने कार्यक्रम में महिला सशक्तिकरण के बारे में बताया तथा उन्नत कृषि तकनीक व जैविक खेती के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए रासायनिक उर्वरकों से होने वाली बीमारियों के बारे में अवगत करवाया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन करते हुए कोमल शर्मा ने कृषि उपयोगी तकनीकों जैसे हाइड्रोपोनिक्स, ड्रिप इरिगेशन के बारे में बताया। इस मौके पर प्रो.मधु नागर, प्रो.बबीता यादव, प्रो.सुरेश कुमार यादव, प्रो.पीसी जाट, प्रो.ज्योति पाठक, निशा व किर्ति बुनकर सहित अनेक लोग मौजूद रहे।
