यहां के राजकीय कन्या महाविद्यालय में एनएसएस की तीनों इकाईयों की ओर से एक दिवसीय शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान स्वच्छता अभियान के साथ-साथ रेड रिबन क्लब और एनएसएस तथा महिला नीति के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में एडस जागरुकता कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित हुआ। कार्यक्रम अधिकारी प्रो.प्रतिभा पोसवाल, प्रो.प्रिया खंगरावत, रेड रिबन क्लब के प्रो.विमल कुमार यादव और प्रो.यामिनी यादव ने अतिथियों का स्वागत किया। कार्यक्रम की मुख्य वक्ता डा.मंजू ने एडस जागरुकता विषय पर व्याख्यान प्रस्तुत करते हुए एड्स के कारण, प्रसार, इलाज और विभिन्न भ्रांतियों के बारे में जानकारी दी। उन्होंने प्रश्रोत्तरी के माध्यम से छात्राओं के विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य संबंधित सवालों के जवाब देकर उनका ज्ञानवर्धन भी किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन कर रहे डा.जगराम गुर्जर ने वैश्वीकरण के दौर में अर्तराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर महामारियों के प्रसार होने से भावी चुनौतियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए छात्राओं को जागरुक रहने का आह्वान किया। कार्यक्रम में डा.कमलेश यादव ने भी विचार रखे।
