यहां के राजकीय पाना देवी कन्या कॉलेज में शनिवार को छात्राओं के लिए अभिमुखीकरण एवं फ्रेशर्स पार्टी कार्यक्रम ‘उमंग’ का आयोजन किया गया। इसी दौरान राजनीतिक विज्ञान के विभागाध्यक्ष विशंबर दयाल ने कहा कि राजनीति विषय में प्रगति के अनेक अवसर हैं। इस विषय के माध्यम से अध्यापन, प्रोफेसर एवं राजनीति क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ा जा सकता है। उन्होंने छात्राओं को लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर कर्तव्य निष्ठा एवं ईमानदारी से कार्य करने की प्रेरणा दी। इस दौरान छात्राओं द्वारा एकलगीत, समूहगीत, लोकनृत्यों के माध्यम से रंगारंग कार्यक्रमों की प्रस्तुतियां दी गई। अंत में प्रो.चंद्रप्रभा ने कार्यक्रम की उपयोगिता पर प्रकाश डालते हुए अतिथियों का धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया। मंच संचालन छात्रा ऋतु ने किया।
