JAIPUR: राज्यपाल एवं कुलाधिपति हरिभाऊ बागड़े ने जारी किए आदेश

राज्यपाल एवं कुलाधिपति हरिभाऊ बागड़े  ने आदेश जारी कर जय नारायण व्यास विश्वविद्यालय, जोधपुर के कुलपति प्रो. के.एल. श्रीवास्तव को कुलपति पद से तत्काल प्रभाव से निलम्बित किया है। राज्यपाल ने  संभागीय आयुक्त, जोधपुर की जांच रिपोर्ट के आधार पर उन्हें निलंबित किया है। जांच रिपोर्ट में प्रो. श्रीवास्तव के विरूद्ध पद का दुरूपयोग करने, राज कार्य में लापरवाही बरतने व विश्वविद्यालय को वित्तीय हानि पहुंचाने के गंभीर आरोप प्रथम दृष्टया प्रमाणित पाए गए। उल्लेखनीय है कि प्रो. श्रीवास्तव के खिलाफ जयनारायण व्यास विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम, 1962 (यथा संशोधित) की धारा 10(2) में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए 3 दिसंबर 2024 के द्वारा संभागीय आयुक्त, जोधपुर की अध्यक्षता में जांच समिति का गठन किया गया था। इसमें वह दोषी पाए गए। राज्यपाल ने इस पर अधिनियम, 1962 (यथा संशोधित) की धारा 11क की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए उन्हें  कुलपति पद से तत्काल प्रभाव से निलम्बित किया है।
