राज्यपाल हरिभाऊ बागडे से मंगलवार को राजभवन में भारतीय दूरसंचार सेवा के वर्ष 2023 बैच के प्रशिक्षु अधिकारियों ने मुलाकात की। ये प्रशिक्षु अधिकारी स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के अंतर्गत तीन दिवसीय दौरे पर जयपुर आए हुए हैं। राज्यपाल बागड़े ने दूरसंचार सेवा के प्रशिक्षु अधिकारियों से संवाद करते हुए उन्हें “राष्ट्र प्रथम” की सोच को ध्यान में रखते हुए भारतीय दूरसंचार सेवाओं को सुदृढ़ करने में योगदान देने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि दूरसंचार सेवाओं में भारत तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है। ‘विकसित भारत’ के संकल्प के अंतर्गत भारतीय दूरसंचार सेवाओं को और अधिक सुगम, सुलभ और प्रभावी बनाने के साथ विश्व भर में अग्रणी करने में अधिकारी संकल्पबद्ध होकर कार्य करें।
राज्यपाल ने भारतीय दूरसंचार सेवा के प्रशिक्षु अधिकारियों को राष्ट्र के प्रति पूर्ण प्रतिबद्धता रखते हुए संचार सेवाओं के अंतर्गत साइबर सुरक्षा, डिजिटल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के निर्माण और उपभोक्ताओं को संचार सेवाओं के बगैर बाधा समुचित रूप में उपलब्ध कराने के लिए भी सुनियोजित सोच के साथ काम करने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने दूरसंचार सेवाओं के अंतर्गत यूनेस्को स्तर पर भारत को वैश्विक स्तर पर मान्यता मिलने पर प्रसन्नता भी जताई तथा कहा कि भारत की तकनीकी श्रेष्ठता के लिए सभी मिलकर कार्य करें। राज्यपाल के सचिव डॉ. पृथ्वी ने कहा कि दूरसंचार सेवाओं को श्रेष्ठ करने के साथ इसकी विश्वसनीयता के लिए भी अधिकारी प्रतिबद्ध होकर कार्य करें। उन्होंने राजभवन में सभी का अभिनंदन किया। इससे पहले भारतीय दूरसंचार सेवा के उप महानिदेशक आनंद कटोच ने प्रशिक्षु अधिकारियों के प्रशिक्षण के बारे में जानकारी दी। निदेशक द्वारका करोल और प्रशिक्षण अधिकारी श्वेताभ कुमार तथा भूपेन्द्र धीमान ने आभार जताया।
