मेघवाल विकास समिति की शाखा के आगामी चुनाव को लेकर रविवार को डा.भीमराव अंबेडकर छात्रावास, रामसिंहपुरा में एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित की गई। इस बैठक की अध्यक्षता जिलाध्यक्ष सुबेसिंह मोरोडिया ने की, जबकि समिति के संरक्षक आरएस झांझरिया के निर्देशन में चुनाव समिति का गठन किया गया। चुनाव समिति के अध्यक्ष जवाहर लाल वर्मा बनाए गए, जबकि प्रकाश चंद, गिरिराज और बलवीर को सदस्य नियुक्त किया गया। अध्यक्ष पद के लिए मदनलाल वर्मा और दयानंद मांडैया के बीच मुकाबला होगा, जबकि तीसरे उम्मीदवार लीलाराम ने अपना नामांकन वापस ले लिया है। चुनाव समिति ने निर्णय लिया है कि मतदान 29 मई को सुबह 8 बजे से दोपहर 12 बजे तक किया जाएगा। इसके पश्चात दोपहर 1 बजे से मतगणना शुरु होगी और परिणाम घोषित कर विजेता को पद की शपथ दिलाई जाएगी। जिलाध्यक्ष सुबेसिंह मोरोडिया ने कहा कि चुनाव प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह शांतिपूर्ण और निष्पक्ष रुप से संपन्न कराई जाएगी।
