समीप के बेरीबांध गांव में सरपंच द्वारा जल जीवन मिशन के तहत लगाए गए नलकूप से पानी का दुरुपयोग किए जाने का आरोप लगाते हुए गांव के महेन्द्र यादव ने जिला कलेक्टर के समक्ष शिकायत पेश की है। पत्र के अनुसार, गांव में पेयजल की पानी किल्लत है। आरोप है कि सरपंच ने जल जीवन मिशन के तहत एक बोरिंग अपने खेतों के बीच में करवा रखी है। उस बोरिंग से खेतों की सिंचाई होती है, जबकि उसके बिल का भुगतान जलदाय विभाग कर रहा है। ज्ञापन की प्रति विभाग के उच्चाधिकारियों को भी भेजी गई है।
