आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव में मतदाताओं को जागरुक करने के लिए शुक्रवार को प्रशासन की ओर से मैराथन दौड़ आयोजित की जाएगी। आयोजन के संबंध में अनेक विभागों को जिम्मेदारियां सौंपी गई है। रिटर्निंग अधिकारी व एसडीएम मुकुट सिंह ने बताया कि मैराथन दौड़ शुक्रवार को सुबह 7 बजे शहर के आरटीओ कार्यालय के सामने से प्रारंभ होगी, जो प्रमुख मार्गों से होती हुई राजकीय एलबीएस पीजी कॉलेज पहुंचेगी। मैराथन में विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी-कर्मचारी शामिल होंगे। सहायक रिटर्निंग अधिकारी सौरभ सिंह ने बताया कि मैराथन के लिए पंचायत समिति, नगर परिषद्, पुलिस थाना, शिक्षा विभाग, एलबीएस पीजी कॉलेज व चिकित्सा विभाग को आवश्यक जिम्मेदारियां सौंपी गई है।
