मेघवाल विकास समिति ब्लॉक कोटपूतली के अध्यक्ष पद का चुनाव गुरुवार को अंबेडकर छात्रावास, रामसिंहपुरा में कराया जाएगा। समिति के जिलाध्यक्ष सुबेसिंह मोरोडिय़ा ने बताया कि मतदान प्रक्रिया सुबह 8 से दोपहर 12 बजे तक चलेगी, जिसके बाद दोपहर 1 बजे से मतगणना शुरु की जाएगी। मतगणना के तुरंत बाद परिणामों की घोषणा की जाएगी और विजयी प्रत्याशी को शपथ दिलवाई जाएगी। अध्यक्ष पद के लिए दो प्रत्याशी सेवानिवृत्त नायब तहसीलदार मदनलाल वर्मा और दयानंद मांडैया मैदान में हैं। चुनाव में कुल 453 मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करेंगे। चुनाव निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया की निगरानी के लिए जवाहरलाल वर्मा, गिरिराज आर्य, प्रकाश चंद व बलवीर सिंह आर्य को जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है।
