हाईवे पर लगे जाम से बचने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में वाहन सर्विस लेन से होकर फ्लाईओवर के नीचे से गुजरने लगे। इसके चलते शहर की ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था ध्वस्त हो गई। आवागमन सुचारु करने के लिए पुलिस थाने से अतिरिक्त जाब्ता तैनात किया गया, लेकिन ट्रैफिक भार अधिक होने के कारण पुलिसकर्मी भी बेबस नजर आए।
