इन दिनों चल रहे सडक़ सुरक्षा माह के तहत पुलिस आमजन को जागरुक करने के साथ ही नियमों का उलंघन करने वालों के विरुद्ध कार्रवाई भी कर रही है। इसे लेकर मंगलवार को भी थानाधिकारी राजेश शर्मा की अगुवाई में वाहन चालकों को समझाईस की गई। इधर, एएसआई रामकुमार और हैड कांस्टेबल धर्मपाल की अगुवाई में एक जांच अभियान चलाया गया और नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले वाहन चालकों के चालान काटे गए। पुलिस ने चौपहिया वाहनों चालकों से सीट बेल्ट लगाने के लिए प्रेरित किया तो वहीं बाइक सवार वाहन चालकों को हेलमेट लगाने की हिदायत दी। हैड कांस्टेबल धर्मपाल ने बताया कि जांच के दौरान विभिन्न तरीकों से नियमों की अवहेलना करने वाले करीब 50 वाहन चालकों के चालान काटे गए। इस तरह की कार्रवाई आगे भी लगातार जारी रहेगी। दूसरी ओर शहर के विभिन्न इलाकों में यातायात पुलिस ने भी कार्रवाई की।
