अतिरिक्त जिला कलेक्टर ओमप्रकाश सहारण ने मंगलवार को कलेक्ट्रेट सभागार में जिला सडक़ सुरक्षा समिति की एक बैठक ली। एएसपी वैभव शर्मा की मौजूदगी में आयोजित बैठक में सडक़ दुर्घटनाओं और इसके कारणों पर गहराई से चर्चा की गई। इस दौरान ओवर स्पीडिंग, ट्रैफिक प्रबंधन, ब्लैक स्पॉट, साइन बोर्ड, यातायात नियमों के बारे में प्रचार-प्रसार करने, आपातकालीन सेवाओं और एंबुलेंस रिस्पॉन्स टाइम जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर भी विस्तृत विचार-विमर्श कर संबंधित विभाग को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए गए। एडीएम ओमप्रकाश सहारण ने फोरलेन सडक़ों पर अवैध कट्स एवं ब्लैक स्पॉट को चिन्हित करते हुए उन्हें बंद करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने स्थानीय आवश्यकता और दुर्घटना कारणों को ध्यान में रखते हुए विभिन्न विभागों को आपसी समन्वय से कार्ययोजना बनाकर कार्य करने की बात कही। एडीएम ने नगर परिषद को शहर में घूम रहे आवारा पशुओं को पकडक़र अन्यत्र सुरक्षित स्थान पर छोडऩे और सडक़ किनारे हो रहे अतिक्रमण को हटाने के निर्देश भी दिए। बैठक में एएसपी वैभव शर्मा ने कहा कि हाईवे पर दुर्घटना संभावित क्रॉसिंग पॉइंट्स को चिन्हित करते हुए फेसिंग या अवरोधक लगवाने का कार्य किया जाए। साथ ही कहा कि सडक़ किनारे लगने वाले ठेलों को दूसरी जगह शिफ्ट करने के लिए कार्य योजना बनाई जाए, ताकि यातायात सुगम और सुरक्षित हो सके। इसके लिए नगर परिषद को शहरी क्षेत्र में निगरानी रखने के लिए पेट्रोलिंग टीम तैनात करनी होगी। पीडब्लयूडी के अधीक्षक अभियंता रामावतार कुमावत तथा जिला परिवहन अधिकारी सुनील कुमार सैनी ने सडक़ सुरक्षा समिति द्वारा किए जा रहे कार्यों की विस्तार से जानकारी दी। बैठक में एसडीएम बृजेश कुमार चौधरी तथा नगर परिषद आयुक्त धर्मपाल जाट समेत अन्य अधिकारियों ने भी विचार रखे।
