कस्बे से होकर गुजर रहे दिल्ली-जयपुर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग की सर्विस लेन स्थित दा ट्रक ऑपरेटर्स यूनियन में श्री श्याम सेवा मित्र मण्डल, कोटपूतली द्वारा फाल्गुन मेले में सीकर के दातारामगढ़ स्थित श्री खाटू श्याम धाम जा रहे श्री श्याम ध्वज पद यात्रियों हेतु विगत 05 से 08 मार्च तक प्रथम सेवा शिविर का आयोजन बड़े ही धूमधाम व हर्षोल्लास के साथ किया गया। शिविर में खाटू श्याम जी की ओर ध्वज लेकर जा रहे विभिन्न स्थानों से आने वाले श्रद्धालू पद यात्रियों के आराम करने हेतु विशेष सुविधाओं के साथ-साथ जलपान, भोजन व चिकित्सा सुविधा की व्यवस्था की गई। इस दौरान हजारों की संख्या में श्रद्धालूओं की सेवा शिविर में श्याम भक्तों द्वारा की गई। शिविर में युवा कांग्रेस के पूर्व प्रदेश महासचिव भीम पटेल, प्रकाश पायला, रामचन्द्र सैनी, प्रदीप सैनी, पवन सैनी, मोहित जांगिड़, जोनी मीणा, राजा जांगिड़, प्रशांत शर्मा, धर्मेन्द्र बंसल, राजेश सैनी, प्रवीण कुमार, रामजीलाल मेहरा, श्याम सुंदर जांगिड़, पंकज गुप्ता व सुभाष कुमावत सहित अनेक लोगों ने शिविर में सहयोग प्रदान किया।
