शहर के एलबीएस महाविद्यालय में सोमवार को अखिल भारतीय राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक महासंघ राजस्थान महाविद्यालय की स्थानीय इकाई द्वारा अहिल्याबाई होलकर की 300 वीं जयंती के अवसर पर विचार गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। प्राचार्य डा.आर के सिंह ने स्वागत भाषण से अतिथियों का स्वागत किया। मुख्य अतिथि तथा मुख्य वक्ता नरेन्द्र प्रचार प्रमुख, अलवर ने वैभवशाली भारतीय संस्कृति, समाज और इतिहास से वक्तव्य की शुरुआत की तथा लोकमाता अहिल्याबाई होलकर का जीवन परिचय देते हुए उनके द्वारा किए गए कार्यों का उल्लेख किया। उन्होंने कहा कि अहिल्याबाई होलकर का शासन काल लोकप्रिय तथा प्रजातांत्रिक मूल्यों पर आधारित रहा है। वर्तमान वैश्विक शासनों को उनके शासन प्रणाली से शिक्षा ग्रहण करनी चाहिए। अखिल भारतीय राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक महासंघ महाविद्यालय की स्थानीय इकाई के सचिव अशोक सिंह ने स्थानीय इकाई द्वारा किए गए कार्यों का परिचय प्रस्तुत किया। साथ ही लोकमाता अहिल्याबाई होलकर के व्यक्तित्व और विचारों का परिचय देते हुए कहा कि देवी अहिल्याबाई होलकर का जीवन हमारे लिए प्रेरणा स्रोत है। इस अवसर पर कुलदीप, जयप्रकाश सैनी तथा रणबीर सिंह मौजूद रहे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डा.प्रभात शर्मा ने किया।
