राज्य स्तरीय सीनियर कुश्ती के ट्रायल में एक पहलवान ने गोल्ड मेडल जीत कर जिले का नाम रोशन किया है। प्रदेश के खेल मंत्री कर्नल राज्यवर्धन सिंह राठौड़ के निर्देश पर बानसूर में संचालित नि:शुल्क कुश्ती प्रशिक्षण केंद्र श्री बालाजी स्पोट्र्स एंड एजूकेशन वेल्फेयर सोसायटी में अभ्यासरत अब तक कई पहलवानों का राष्ट्रीय स्तरीय कुश्ती प्रतियोगिता में चयन हुआ है। कृष्ण पहलवान ने बताया कि अब खिलाड़ी विकास गुर्जर निवासी टोडिया का बास ने राज्य स्तर पर गोल्ड मैडल जीतकर राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिता के लिए चयन होने में कामयाबी पाई है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस निशुल्क कुश्ती प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र में रोजाना लगभग पांच दर्जन पहलवान अभ्यास कर रहे हैं। इस दौरान राजस्थान राज्य क्रीडा परिषद द्वारा नियुक्त एनआईएस कुश्ती कोच बालकिशन छावड़ी, संदीप गुर्जर, विजय पहलवान, सुरेशचंद, राजू पहलवान, विवेक, जगत, आशु, संदीप सहित अन्य पहलवानों ने बधाई दी।
