गुर्जर आरक्षण आंदोलन के वीर शहीदों की स्मृति में गुरुवार को कल्याणपुरा खुर्द स्थित वीर गुर्जर शहीद स्मारक पर भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। वर्ष 2007 में इसी दिन हुए ऐतिहासिक आंदोलन में गुर्जर समाज के अनेक युवाओं ने अपने प्राणों की आहुति दी थी, जिनकी वीरता और बलिदान को आज भी समाज गर्व से याद करता है। वीर गुर्जर शहीद स्मारक प्रबंधक राजेन्द्र कसाना ने बताया कि यह स्मारक पूर्व सांसद सुखबीर सिंह जौनापुरिया द्वारा शहीदों की स्मृति में बनवाया गया था और हर वर्ष इसी दिन श्रद्धांजलि दिवस के रुप में मनाया जाता है। कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित वक्ताओं ने शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए कहा कि उनके बलिदान के कारण ही आज गुर्जर समाज शिक्षा और सरकारी सेवाओं में आगे बढ़ रहा है। उन्होंने समाज को एकजुट होकर शहीदों के सपनों को साकार करने का आह्वान किया। श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम में भाजपा नेता शंकरलाल कसाना, बार एसोसिएशन के पूर्व अध्यक्ष दयाराम खटाणा, रोशन हवलदार, रामसिंह कसाना, महावीर कसाना, हरदान पायला, राजेन्द्र यादव, एडवोकेट सत्यवीर पायला, हवासिंह रावत मोरदा, मालाराम पूतली, दिनेश कसाना, सूरजमल तंवर, रोहित कसाना, मोहनलाल सैन, मनोज सैन, लीलाराम राजपूत, योगेन्द्र सैन, रामनिवास कसाना, रामसिंह ठेकेदार सहित बड़ी संख्या में समाज के लोग मौजूद रहे।
