राज्यपाल हरिभाऊ बागडे ने कहा है कि प्रशासनिक और लेखा सेवा में राष्ट्रहित को सर्वोपरि मानते हुए अधिकारी पूर्ण पारदर्शिता की कार्य की संस्कृति का विकास करें। उन्होंने समय के साथ जीवन प्रबंधन को जोड़ते हुए नैतिक मूल्यों के लिए कार्य करने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि राजकीय सेवा में आने के बाद अधिकारियों को यह चाहिए कि वे जन कल्याण से जुड़े कार्यों और विकास योजनाओं का प्रभावी रूप में क्रियान्वयन करेंं। बागडे सोमवार को राजभवन में राजस्थान प्रशासनिक और लेखा सेवा के वर्ष 2024 बैच के प्रशिक्षु अधिकारियों को संबोधित कर रहे थे। राजभवन में अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव और हरिश्चन्द्र माथुर राज्य लोक प्रशासन संस्थान की महानिदेशक श्रेया गुहा की पहल पर इन अधिकारियों की राज्यपाल से मुलाकात हुई।
इस दौरान राज्यपाल ने प्रशिक्षु अधिकारियों के कार्य और प्रशिक्षण के बारे में जानकारी ली तथा कहा कि राज्य और देश के विकास में वे भविष्य में सार्थक भूमिका निभाएं। उन्होंने लोकसभा के पहले अध्यक्ष रहे गणेश वासुदेव मावलंकर का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि संसदीय परम्पराओं और मर्यादाओं के साथ लोक प्रशासन की देश में उन्होंने नींव रखी। उन्होंने आचार्य चाणक्य और अन्य महापुरुषों का संदर्भ देते हुए कहा कि राजकीय सेवा में ईमानदारी और राजकीय हित को प्रमुखता देते हुए कार्य किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि जीवन में भोजन के साथ हर स्तर पर व्यवस्थित नियोजन और प्रबंधन यदि आप करते हैं, तभी पदस्थापित पद पर अपने आपको प्रभावी रूप में साबित कर पाएंगे।
