केंद्रीय पर्यटन मंत्री गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत के साथ उनके नई दिल्ली स्थित कार्यालय में सोमवार को उपमुख्यमंत्री एवं पर्यटन मंत्री दिया कुमारी ने भेंट कर राजस्थान पर्यटन विकास, पर्यटन स्थलों के संरक्षण एवं संवर्धन से जुड़े कई बिंदुओं पर चर्चा की, जिनको केंद्रीय पर्यटन मंत्री ने पूरी सकारात्मकता से सुना और चर्चा के बिंदुओं को अमली जामा पहनाने का आश्वासन भी देने के साथ महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव भी दिए। उपमुख्यमंत्री दिया कुमारी पर्यटन मंत्री गजेन्द्र सिंह शेखावत से मुलाकात कर पर्यटन विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ हुई मीटिंग के बिंदुओं को समाहित करते हुए, राजस्थान में पर्यटन के विकास, नए आयाम तलाशने, सीमावर्ती इलाकों में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने, ट्राइबल टूरिज्म और रूरल टूरिज्म को लेकर चर्चा की। साथ ही राजस्थान में माइस सेंटर्स के विकास को लेकर भी बातचीत हुई।

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेश के पर्यटन को बढ़ाने के साथ ही शेखावाटी इलाके में हवेलियों के संरक्षण एवं पर्यटन की अपार संभावनाओं पर भी चर्चा की। राजस्थान में पर्यटन की विभिन्न मांगों को लेकर उपमुख्यमंत्री ने केंद्रीय पर्यटन मंत्री को पत्र भी सौंपा।
