कोटपूतली पुलिस ने पांच माह से फरार चल रहे नकबजनी के एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है। एसपी राजन दुष्यंत ने बताया कि जिले में चोरी और नकबजनी की बढ़ती घटनाओं पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी कड़ी में एएसपी वैभव शर्मा के निर्देशन और डीएसपी राजेंद्र कुमार बुरडक़ के सुपरविजन में थानाधिकारी राजेश कुमार शर्मा की अगुवाई में टीम गठित की गई थी। टीम ने तकनीकी सहायता और सूचनाओं के आधार पर कोटपूतली निवासी कृष्ण कुमार को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी ने 25 जून 2024 को एक घर में सेंधमारी कर सोने-चांदी के आभूषण और 5 हजार रुपए की नकदी चुराई थी। इस मामले में पहले ही दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर चोरी का माल बरामद किया जा चुका था, जबकि मुख्य आरोपी फरार चल रहा था। गिरफ्तारी के बाद पुलिस आरोपी से गहन पूछताछ कर रही है।
