नार्को कोर्डिनेशन सेंटर की जिला स्तरीय कमेटी की बैठक मंगलवार को कलेक्ट्रेट सभागार में एडीएम ओमप्रकाश सहारण की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित हुई। एडीएम ने सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी पर रोक लगाने के साथ-साथ जिले में नशा मुक्ति के लिए समुचित रूप से प्रभावी कार्यवाही करने और नशा मुक्त अभियान में आमजन की सहभागिता और जागरूकता बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए। एडीएम ने कहा कि नशे की समस्या को दूर करने के लिए जन जागरूकता के साथ-साथ समस्त विभागों की सहभागिता जरुरी है। एडीएम ने समाज कल्याण विभाग को स्थाई या अस्थाई नशा मुक्ति केन्द्र संचालित करने की कार्ययोजना बनाने, मेडिकल स्टोर्स पर पर्याप्त निगरानी रखने के निर्देश देते हुए औषधि नियंत्रक विभाग को अनियमितता पाए जाने पर मेडिकल स्टोर्स के लाईसेंस निरस्त करने की हिदायत दी। उन्होंने शिक्षा विभाग को एक निश्चित दिन पर स्कूलों में विद्यार्थियों को विभिन्न माध्यमों से नशे के दुष्प्रभावों के बारे में जागरुकक करने के लिए कहा। बैठक में एएसपी वैभव शर्मा ने मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी नियंत्रण को लेकर अब तक हुई कार्यवाहियों की समीक्षा की और निर्देश दिए कि नशीले पदार्थों और इनमें संलिप्त अपराधियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्यवाही की जाए। बैठक में एसडीएम बृजेश कुमार सहित विभिन्न विभागों के अफसर मौजूद रहे।
