उपभोक्ताओं के लिए राहत भरी खबर है। राज्य सरकार ने कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ जिले में जिला उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग की स्थापना का निर्णय लिया है। यह आयोग उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम 2019 की धारा 28 के तहत गठित किया गया है, जिसका अधिकार क्षेत्र पूरे जिले में रहेगा। अब उपभोक्ताओं को न्याय की तलाश में जयपुर या अलवर नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। इससे न केवल समय और धन की बचत होगी, बल्कि स्थानीय स्तर पर मामलों का त्वरित समाधान भी हो सकेगा। आयोग में एक अध्यक्ष और दो सदस्य नियुक्त किए जाएंगे, जिनमें से एक महिला सदस्य होना अनिवार्य है। इस फैसले का आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता राव धनवीर सिंह समेत उपभोक्ता संगठनों और नागरिकों ने स्वागत किया है। लंबे समय से की जा रही इस मांग के पूरी होने से क्षेत्र में न्याय प्रणाली का विकेंद्रीकरण संभव होगा और बड़ी आबादी को सीधे लाभ मिलेगा।
