राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी की पुण्य तिथि पर जिला प्रशासन द्वारा आयोजित शहीद दिवस पर गुरुवार को जिला कलक्टर कल्पना अग्रवाल ने कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में महात्मा गांधी की तस्वीर पर सूत की माला पहनाकर व पुष्प अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी एवं रामधुन का आयोजन कर महात्मा गांधी को याद किया। जिला कलक्टर ने कहा कि महात्मा गांधी ने सत्य-अंहिसा की राह पर चलकर देश को आजादी दिलाई। महात्मा के आदर्शों में जीवन का सार है। एडीएम ओमप्रकाश सहारण ने कहा कि आज के समय में महात्मा गांधी के विचारों की प्रासंगिकता बढ़ती जा रही है। अहिंसा और शांति पर उनके उपदेश आज भी दुनिया भर के लोगों के लिए प्रेरणा का स्त्रोत हैं। इस दौरान कलेक्ट्रेट के विभिन्न अनुभागों के अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारियों ने मौन धारण कर गांधीजी को नमन किया। साथ ही रामधुन की स्तुति की गई।
