भजनलाल शर्मा को प्रदेश का मुखिया बनाए जाने पर ब्राह्मण समाज की ओर से खुशी का इजहार किया गया। इस दौरान शहर के मुख्य चौराहे पर आतिशबाजी कर मिठाइयां भी बांटी गई। इससे पहले परशुराम मंदिर परिसर में समाज की एक बैठक आयोजित हुई। जिसमें पं.किशोरीलाल शर्मा, नगर अध्यक्ष बजरंगलाल शर्मा, गौड सनाढय फाउंडेशन के जिलाध्यक्ष नवल शर्मा, हरिशंकर शर्मा, बद्रीप्रसाद शर्मा, दीनदयाल गौड, संदीप शर्मा, नंदलाल जोशी, ओमप्रकाश सारस्वत, मिथलेश शर्मा, नरेश गिरदावर आदि ने कहा कि भजनलाल शर्मा को प्रदेश का मुख्यमंत्री बनाए जाने से राज्य विकास में अपनी अलग पहचान बना पाएगा। भाजपा द्वारा शर्मा को मुख्यमंत्री बनाए जाने से सर्व समाज को आगे बढऩे का मौका मिलेगा। बैठक में सामाजिक बुराईयों को दूर करने, आर्थिक रुप से कमजोर समाज के लोगों को सहयोग करने और समाज की एकजुटता बरकरार रखने पर जोर दिया। वक्ताओं ने कुछ दिन पहले समाज के एक परिवार के साथ हुई मारपीट के मामले में आक्रोश जताते हुए उक्त मामले पर प्रागपुरा थाने में जाकर अधिकारियों से मिलने और कार्रवाई नहीं होने पर आंदोलन करने की रणनीति पर भी चर्चा की। इस दौरान नरेश शर्मा व उर्फ नीशू, मयंक शर्मा, सुरेश शर्मा, सुंदरलाल नाजिर, नरेन्द्र कंवरपुरा, गोपाल शर्मा, सज्जन शर्मा, किशनलाल शर्मा, रवि रॉय शर्मा, विक्रम शर्मा खुर्दी, जगदीश प्रसाद सहित काफी संख्या में लोग मौजूद रहे।
