राजसमंद जिले के कुंठवा (खमनौर) में कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका आवासीय विद्यालय में छात्रावास का निर्माण होगा। इसमें कक्षा 9 से 12 तक के विद्यार्थी रहकर पढ़ाई कर सकेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने निर्माण के लिए 4.41 करोड़ रुपए की वित्तीय मंजूरी दी है। गहलोत की स्वीकृति से विद्यालय में 100 आवासीय क्षमता का छात्रावास बनेगा। विद्यार्थियों को पढ़ाई के लिए अनुकूल वातावरण मिलेगा, जिससे उनका शैक्षिक एवं सर्वांगीण विकास सुनिश्चित हो सकेगा। उल्लेखनीय है कि मुख्यमंत्री ने बजट वर्ष 2023-24 में इस संबंध में घोषणा की थी। इससे पूर्व भी विद्यालय में 50 आवासीय क्षमता के बालिका छात्रावास निर्माण की स्वीकृति जारी की जा चुकी है।
