शहर के वार्ड संख्या 19 में इन दिनों व्याप्त गंदगी, बजबजाती नालियों और रात्रि को गलियों में अंधेरा कायम रहने से स्थानीय वाशिंदे बेहद परेशान हैं। इसे लेकर पार्षद मीनू बंसल ने नगर परिषद आयुक्त को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा है। पार्षद बंसल ने बताया कि वार्ड संख्या 19 में पिछले कई दिनों से गंदगी पसरी हुई है। नगर परिषद के सफाई कर्मचारी व ठेकेदार साफ-सफाई करने में लापरवाही बरत रहे हैं। इस संबंध में पहले भी नगर परिषद् को अवगत कराया जा चुका है। पूरे वार्ड में जगह-जगह कचरे के ढेर लगे हुए है। वार्ड नाले-नालियां अवरुद्ध हैं और थोड़ी सी बारिश होते ही गंदा पानी सडक़ों पर पसर जाता है। वार्ड के निचले इलाके में जलभराव की समस्या बन जातीहै। अब दुर्गन्ध के साथ साथ गंदगी के चलते मच्छर पनप रहे हैं।

पार्षद ने कहा कि गन्दगी व नालियों की सफाई कराकर डीटीडी पाउडर का छिडक़ाव करने तथा फोगिंग कराने से कई बीमारियां फैलने की संभावना कम हो जाएगी। उन्होंने वार्ड में पिछले एक माह से बंद पड़ी रोड़ लाईटों को भी चालू कराने की मांग की है। पार्षद ने कहा कि लाईट सुधारने वाले ठेकेदार को कहा गया तो उन्होंने सामान नहीं होने का हवाला देेकर अपना पल्ला झाड़ लिया। पार्षद की मांगों पर नगर परिषद आयुक्त ने जल्द ही समस्याएं दूर करने का भरोसा दिलाया।
