चोरी की बढ़ती वारदातों के बीच कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ जिले को एक बड़ी कामयाबी हाथ लगी है। जिले की प्रागपुरा थाना पुलिस ने चोरी की आठ वारदातों का पर्दाफास करते हुए इन घटनाओं में लिप्त तीन बदमाशों को गिरफ्तार किया है। गुरुवार को कोटपूतली में एएसपी वैभव शर्मा ने प्रेस कांफ्रेंस करके इन वारदातों का पर्दाफास किया। शर्मा ने बताया कि संपत्ति संबंधी अपराधों की रोकथाम एवं वर्तमान समय में हो रही नकबजनी की घटनाओं के खुलासे के लिए कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ एसपी राजन दुष्यंत के निर्देश पर जिले भर में विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसके लिए एएसपी वैभव शर्मा के सुपरविजन में विराटनगर डीएसपी शिप्रा राजावत के निर्देशन में प्रागपुरा थानाधिकारी राजेश कुमार की अगुवाई में एक टीम का गठन किया गया था। टीम ने चोरी की अनेक घटनाओं की छानबीन करते हुए बदमाशों की तलाश में जुट गई और अब मुखबिर द्वारा मिली सूचनाओं के आधार पर तीन आरोपी करण सिंह पुत्र बच्चन सिंह धानका निवासी रैयो का बास पाटन, अमन पुत्र राजू धानका तथा रोहित पुत्र राजू धानका निवासी नाथूसर थानागाजी अलवर को गिरफ्तार किया है। एएसपी वैभव शर्मा ने बताया कि गिरफ्तार हुए बदमाशों ने प्रागपुरा के ककराना गांव में विक्रम सिंह यादव के यहां, द्वारिकपुरा में बबीता धानका के यहां, मीरापुर में हनुमान गुर्जर के घर में, पंडितपुरा में मनोज कुमार के घर से दिन-दहाड़े, बेरीबांध में लालचंद यादव और लक्ष्मीनारायण मेहरा के मकान में, मांजूकोट में सरोज देवी के घर से तथा पावटा में रणवीर कुम्हार के घर में चोरी की वारदातों को अंजाम दिया था। इन जगहों से बदमाश नकदी समेत सोने-चांदी के आभूषण और अन्य कीमती सामान उड़ा ले गए थे।

इसके अलावा बदमाशों ने पूछताछ में नीमकाथाना के ग्राम बक्सीपुरा, हसामपुर, पाटन के ग्राम देवलाड़ी, ग्राम कालाखेड़ा, ग्राम काचरा नांगल, रैयो के बास, सरुंड थाना क्षेत्र के ग्राम पवाना अहीर, पुरुषोत्तमपुरा, कीरतपुरा, नारेहड़ा, शुक्लाबास से, विराटनगर के ग्राम ककराणा, विराटनगर में किले के पास एक मकान से, ग्राम छितोली से तथा थानागाजी के ग्राम मांदरी और बंजारा बस्ती में भी चोरी की कुल 18 वारदातों को अंजाम देना कबूल किया है। इस उपलब्धि पर एसपी राजन दुष्यंत ने पूरी पुलिस टीम को बधाई देते हुए उनका हौंसला बढ़ाया है।
