पंचायती राज एवं ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री (राज्य मंत्री) ओटा राम देवासी एवं मुख्य सचिव सुधांश पंत ने राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन के तहत केन्द्रीय ग्रामीण विकास विभाग के सहयोग से राजस्थान ग्रामीण आजीविका विकास परिषद् (राजीविका) द्वारा जवाहर कला केन्द्र में चल रहे सरस राज सखी राष्ट्रीय मेला—2024 का मंगलवार को अवलोकन किया। देवासी ने सरस मेले की सभी स्टालों का अवलोकन किया एवं विभिन्न राज्यों से आये स्वयं सहायता समूह की महिलाओं से संवाद किया एवं उनके उत्पादों की सराहना की। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि यह मेला ग्रामीण महिलाओं के आर्थिक और सामाजिक सशक्तिकरण को बढ़ावा देने का एक अहम प्रयास है, जिसमें स्वयं सहायता समूह की महिलाओं के हस्तनिर्मित उत्पादों का प्रदर्शन किया जा रहा है। मेले में देशभर के 250 से अधिक भौगोलिक संकेतक (जीआई टैग) वाले उत्पादों और पारंपरिक शिल्प का शानदार संग्रह देखने को मिल रहा है।
