सरुंड थाना पुलिस ने शनिवार को बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए अवैध देशी कट्टा सहित एक टॉप-10 अपराधी मोती गुर्जर उर्फ पहलवान को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी के खिलाफ सोशल मीडिया पर हथियार प्रदर्शन का प्रकरण पहले से दर्ज है और वह थाने की वांछित अपराधियों की सूची में शामिल है। एसपी राजन दुष्यंत ने बताया कि जिले में अवैध हथियार रखने, बेचने और सोशल मीडिया पर हथियारों का प्रदर्शन करने वालों के विरुद्ध विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में एएसपी वैभव शर्मा व डीएसपी राजेंद्र कुमार बुरडक के निर्देशन में थानाधिकारी बाबूलाल के नेतृत्व में गठित टीम ने यह कार्रवाई की। मुखबिर की सूचना पर न्यू मोहनपुरा जाने वाले रास्ते पर घेराबंदी कर पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया। जांच के दौरान उसकी कमर से एक अवैध देशी कट्टा बरामद हुआ। आरोपी बखरीजा की ढाणी तन खड़ब, थाना सरुंड क्षेत्र का रहने वाला है। पुलिस अब यह पता लगाने में जुटी है कि वह यह कट्टा कहां से लाया और किस उद्देश्य से लेकर जा रहा था।
