कोटपूतली के बनेठी गांव में मकर संक्रांति के पर्व पर रविवार को प्रतिवर्ष की भांति परपम्परानुसार ऊंट दौड़ प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें प्रथम राजेंद्र (कोटिया का बास) प्रथम, सवाई सिंह (दानिवास) द्वितीय व भोलाराम (ढ़ाणी अहिरान) का ऊंट तृतीय स्थान पर रहा। इस दौरान युवाओं की दौड़ का आयोजन भी किया गया। जिसमें प्रथम स्थान अनिल (शेखा मंडाना), द्वितीय सुरेंद्र सिंह (नान) एवं प्रिंस पुत्र हरिपाल शर्मा बनेठी ने तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया। ग्राम पंचायत की ओर से प्रथम विजेता को 5100, द्वितीय को 3100 एवं तृतीय को 2100 रुपए का नकद इनाम देकर सम्मानित किया गया। निर्णायक विजय पाल सिंह ने इनाम वितरित किए। इस दौरान पूर्व प्रधान विक्रम सिंह तंवर, सरपंच प्रतिनिधि देवी सिंह, भीम सिंह, दीपक कौशिक, विक्रम, सुरेंद्र, सुरेश सिंह, गजराज सिंह, राजकुमार, रुपेश वर्मा, सुरेश, महेंद्र कुमावत समेत बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण मौजूद रहे।
