हाईवे स्थित दीवान कट के पास सोमवार को एक बड़ा हादसा होते-होते टल गया। आगे चल रहे एक वाहन द्वारा एकाएक ब्रेक लगा दिए जाने के बाद कार उससे टकरा गई और इसी दौरान तेज रफ्तार से आ रहे एक ट्रेलर ने कार को पीछे से टक्कर मार दी, जिससे कार बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई। गनीमत रही कि हादसे में कोई जनहानि नहीं हुई। घटना के चश्मदीदों के मुताबिक, कार दिल्ली की ओर जा रही थी, तभी पीछे से आ रहे अनियंत्रित ट्रेलर ने तेज गति में उसे टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि कार के पिछले हिस्से को भारी नुकसान पहुंचा। दुर्घटना के बाद हाईवे पर यातायात बाधित हो गया और वाहनों की लंबी कतारें लग गई। हादसे में कार सवार एक महिला और उसके दो बच्चों के मामूली चोटें आई, जिन्हें नजदीक ही एक निजी क्लिीनिक में उपचारित कराया गया। स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी। पुलिस ने तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए ट्रेलर और क्षतिग्रस्त कार को सडक़ के किनारे करवाकर आवागमन सुचारु करवाया।
