कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ जिले को आखिरकार अपना कलेक्ट्रेट भवन मिल गया है। अभी तक यह कार्यालय नगर परिषद भवन में अस्थायी रूप से संचालित हो रहा था, लेकिन अब इसे सराय मौहल्ला स्थित नए भवन में शिफ्ट किया जा रहा है। बुधवार को विधिवत पूजा-अर्चना के बाद कलेक्टर कल्पना अग्रवाल और एडीएम ओमप्रकाश सहारण नए कलेक्ट्रेट भवन से प्रशासनिक कार्यों की शुरुआत करेंगे। नए कलेक्ट्रेट भवन की मरम्मत, रंग-रोगन, साफ-सफाई और साज-सज्जा का कार्य पूरा कर लिया गया है। सार्वजनिक निर्माण विभाग और नगर परिषद की टीम पिछले दो माह से इस भवन को तैयार करने में जुटी हुई थी। कलेक्टर का कार्यालय भवन के ठीक पीछे एक बड़े हॉल में बनाया गया है, जहां पर्याप्त बैठने की व्यवस्था की गई है। पीए चेंबर गेट के बाहर बनाया गया है, जबकि एडीएम का कार्यालय गेट से अंदर प्रवेश करते ही सामने स्थित होगा।

60 लाख की लागत से तैयार हुआ भवन

कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ को जिला घोषित किए जाने के बाद सबसे बड़ा सवाल था कि कलेक्ट्रेट कहां संचालित होगा? कई स्थानों का निरीक्षण करने के बाद देहली दरवाजे के पास स्थित राजकीय कन्या महाविद्यालय के पुराने भवन को कलेक्ट्रेट के लिए चुना गया। यह भवन काफी पुराना और जर्जर हालत में था, इसलिए सरकार ने इसकी मरम्मत के लिए लगभग 60 लाख रुपए स्वीकृत किए। हालांकि, मरम्मत कार्य पूरा होने के बावजूद कलेक्टर और एडीएम का कार्यालय नगर परिषद में ही संचालित किया जा रहा था।

एक ही भवन में प्रशासनिक शाखाएं

इस नए कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में प्रशासनिक कार्यों को प्रभावी ढंग से संचालित करने के लिए कलेक्ट्रेट की विभिन्न शाखाओं के लिए अलग-अलग केबिन बनाए गए हैं। इसके अलावा कलेक्टर का कोर्ट रूम, वीडियो कॉन्फें्रसिंग रुम और एक बड़ा मीटिंग हॉल भी बनाया गया है, जिससे प्रशासनिक कार्यों को गति मिलेगी। नए भवन परिसर में आम नागरिकों और अधिकारियों के वाहनों की पार्किंग के लिए पर्याप्त जगह उपलब्ध है। बाहरी लोगों के लिए सार्वजनिक सुविधा केंद्र और प्रशासनिक स्टाफ के लिए अलग से शौचालय भी बनाए गए हैं। साथ ही वकीलों के बैठने के लिए भी स्थान निर्धारित किया गया है, हालांकि, उसका मरम्मत कार्य अभी बाकी है।

इतिहास से जुड़ा हुआ है यह भवन

जिस भवन में अब कलेक्टर कल्पना अग्रवाल जिले की कमान संभालेंगी, उसका ऐतिहासिक महत्व भी है। करीब 150 साल पुराने इस भवन का निर्माण खेतड़ी रियासत के कैंप कोर्ट के रूप में हुआ था। उस समय खेतड़ी के तत्कालीन महाराज राजस्व, दीवानी और फौजदारी मामलों की सुनवाई इसी भवन में किया करते थे। ऐसा भी कहा जाता है कि स्वामी विवेकानंद इस भवन में आ चुके हैं।

आमजन को मिलेगी बड़ी राहत

नए भवन में सभी प्रशासनिक विभाग एक ही परिसर में होने से आमजन को बहुत राहत मिलेगी। पहले लोगों को परेशानी होती थी, लेकिन अब एक ही भवन में सभी प्रशासनिक कार्य संपन्न होंगे। इससे सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ लेने वाले नागरिकों को तेजी से सेवाएं मिल सकेंगी। एडीएम ओमप्रकाश सहारण ने बताया कि बुधवार सुबह नए कलेक्ट्रेट भवन में विधिवत पूजन-अर्चना की जाएगी। इसके बाद कलेक्टर कल्पना अग्रवाल अपने नए कार्यालय से कार्यभार संभालेंगी। कलेक्ट्रेट के यहां शिफ्ट होने से जिले के लोगों को प्रशासनिक कार्यों के लिए इधर-उधर भटकने की जरुरत नहीं पड़ेगी।
