पंजाब से गुजरात भेजी जा रही थी शराब

कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ जिले की पनियाला थाना पुलिस ने अवैध शराब के विरुद्ध बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। पंजाब निर्मित अवैध शराब बंद बाडी कंटीनर से तस्करी कर गुजरात ले जाई जा रही थी। पुलिस ने आरोपी चालक को गिरफ्तार कर शराब सहित कंटीनर को जब्त कर लिया है। कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ पुलिस अधीक्षक रंजीता शर्मा ने बताया कि पुलिस महानिरीक्षक उमेशचन्द्र दत्ता के निर्देश पर अवैध गतिविधियों के विरुद्ध विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसके लिए एएसपी नेमसिंह व डीएसपी मदनलाल जैफ के सुपरविजन में थाना स्तर पर विशेष टीमों का गठन किया गया है। इसी क्रम में पनियाला थाने में थानाधिकारी बाबूलाल मीणा के नेतृत्व में गठित पुलिस ने कांस्टेबल लखनसिंह की सूचना पर पनियाला-नारनौल हाईवे पर नाकाबंदी शुरु की। इसी दौरान नांगल चौधरी की तरफ से एक बंद बाडी कन्टीनर आया। पुलिस ने कंटीनर को रुकवाकर उसमें अवैध शराब भरी हुई थी। पुलिस ने मौके पर ही चालक को हिरासत में लेकर शराब की पेटियों की गिनती शुरु की गई।
150 पेटी बीयर व 138 पेटी अंग्रेजी शराब
थानाधिकारी मीणा ने बताया कि कंटीनर में 150 पेटी बीयर केन सहित कुल 138 पेटी अंग्रेजी शराब बरामद हुई है। जब्त की गई शराब की कीमत 10 लाख रुपए आंकी गई है। पुलिस ने शराब सहित कंटीनर को जब्त कर आरोपी चालक ओमप्रकाश (28) पुत्र नरेन्द्र सिंह राजपूत निवासी धुकलपुरा थाना सैन्दड़ा जिला ब्यावर को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने आरोपी के विरुद्ध आबकारी अधिनियम में मुकदमा दर्ज कर जांच शुरु कर दी है।
