स्थानीय पानादेवी कन्या महाविद्यालय में चल रहे साप्ताहिक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम गोरबंद के पांचवें दिन वेस्ट में बैस्ट एवं गायन प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन प्राचार्य डा.आरपी गुर्जर की अध्यक्षता में किया गया। प्राचार्य ने छात्राओं को संबोधित करते हुए सृजनशीलता को विकसित करने तथा अपनी प्रतिभाओं को निखारने का संदेश दिया। प्रो.भावना चौधरी ने सभी छात्राओं को जीवन में आने वाली समस्याओं का निर्भीक होकर सामना करने के लिए प्रेरित करते हुए प्रतियोगिताओं में बढ़-चढक़र भाग लेने की अपील की। प्रो.चंचल कुमारी ने बताया कि आज वेस्ट में बैस्ट प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान पर पूनम मीना की टीम, द्वितीय स्थान पर खुशबू यादव की टीम तथा तृतीय स्थान पर योगिता सैनी व सीमा सैनी की टीम रही। गायन प्रतियोगिता में निर्णायक प्रो.विमल कुमार यादव एवं प्रो.यामिनी यादव रहे। इस प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान पर अनुभा आर्य, द्वितीय स्थान पर तमन्ना सैनी तथा तृतीय स्थान पर अरिन कुरैशी व छवि धानका रही। वेस्ट में बैस्ट प्रतियोगिता में डा.भावना चौधरी तथा प्रो.विशंबर दयाल ने निर्णायक की भूमिका अदा की। समूह गायन प्रतियोगिता में प्रियंका सैनी एवं समूह ने अपनी प्रस्तुति दी। मंच का संचालन करते हुए प्रो.जगराम गुर्जर ने सभी का धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।
