शहर के लक्ष्मी नगर मोड़ पर अंडरपास बनवाए जाने की मांग को लेकर संघर्ष समिति से जुड़े लोगों ने मंगलवार को मुख्यमंत्री के नाम जिला कलेक्टर को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा। यह समिति के अध्यक्ष रामस्वरुप चौधरी की अगुवाई में सौंपा गया। समिति के कोषाध्यक्ष भीखाराम सैनी ने कहा कि सब्जी मंडी क्रॉसिंग पर बनने वाले पुल का टेंडर निरस्त हो गया है। ऐसे में नए टेंडर में लक्ष्मी नगर अंडरपास को भी जुड़वाया जाए। इससे हाईवे के दूसरी तरफ अनेक गांवों-ढ़ांणियों तथा नगर परिषद के 7 वार्डों के लोगों को आवागमन में सुविधा होगी। रमेश कुमार आर्य ने बताया कि लक्ष्मी नगर मोड़ पर कोई कट नहीं होने के कारण विपरीत दिशा में चलने से दुर्घटनाएं होती हैं और हाईवे पर अक्सर जाम की समस्या बनी रहती है। इस दौरान समिति के उपाध्यक्ष प्रेमचंद ठेकेदार, जितेंद्र जिलेन्द्रा, गिरिराज नायक ने भी समस्या से अवगत कराया। कलेक्टर ने जल्द ही इस समस्या को सीएम तक पहुंचाने का भरोसा दिलाया।
