मकर संक्रांति पर कोटपूतली थाना पुलिस बेहद चौकन्नी रही। पुलिस की अलग-अलग टीमों ने शहर के अनेक स्थानों पर छापेमार कार्रवाई की और ताश-पत्ती की आड़ में जुआ खेलते हुए कुल 10 जनों को गिरफ्तार कर उनके कब्जे से जुए की रकम भी जब्त की। थानाधिकारी राजेश शर्मा ने बताया कि यह कार्रवाई एसपी राजन दुष्यंत के निर्देश पर एएसपी वैभव शर्मा और डीएसपी राजेन्द्र कुमार बुरडक के निर्देशन में गठित टीमों द्वारा की गई। इसके तहत शहर के सहरावत अस्पताल के पास विष्णु कुम्हार, राजेन्द्र डाकोत, ओमप्रकाश कुमावत, प्रकाश कुमावत, भवानी सिंह धानका तथा रामौतार धानका निवासी बाछड़ी कोटपूतली को तथा आईटीआई कॉलेज के पास से कृष्ण गुर्जर, इन्द्राज माथुर और मौहल्ला बड़ाबास से सुभाष सैनी तथा दिनेश सैन को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। सभी मामलों में कुल 4 हजार 750 रुपए की नकदी जब्त कर पांच अलग-अलग मुकदमे दर्ज किए गए हैं। दूसरी ओर पुलिस ने शहर के जनाना अस्पताल के पास से ध्वनि प्रदूषण फैलाने के आरोप में पिकअप चालक राजेश जाट निवासी बडऩगर को गिरफ्तार कर उसके कब्जे से डेक मशीन भी जब्त की गई है।
