पुलिस मुख्यालय के निर्देश पर मंगलवार को स्थानीय उप कारागृह की आकस्मिक जांच कर तलाशी ली गई। जेल में अवैध गतिविधियों पर लगाम लगाने के लिए जयपुर रेंज के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक अजयपाल लांबा के निर्देश के बाद एसपी राजन दुष्यंत ने जेल का औचक निरीक्षण करने के निर्देश दिए गए थे। इसके तहत एएसपी वैभव शर्मा के निर्देशन में डीएसपी राजेन्द्र कुमार बुरडक तथा कार्यपालक मजिस्ट्रेट तहसीलदार रामधन गुर्जर की अगुवाई में तीन थानों का पुलिस बल जेल में पहुंचा और बारीकी से जांच करते हुए बैरकों में भी सघन तलाशी ली। जांच के दौरान कोटपूतली थाना प्रभारी किशन लाल, सरुंड थानाधिकारी बाबूलाल मीणा, महिला थानाधिकारी प्रदीप कुमार यादव अपने-अपने जाब्ते और पुलिस लाइन के जवान शामिल थे। इस दौरान डीएसपी राजेन्द्र बुरडक व तहसीलदार रामधन गुर्जर ने कैदियों से बातचीत कर आवश्यक जानकारी भी ली। डीएसपी ने बताया कि जांच के दौरान जेल परिसर में कोई आपत्तिजनक वस्तु नहीं मिली। उन्होंने बताया कि आगे भी समय-समय पर इस तरह औचक निरीक्षण किया जाता रहेगा।
