पीएम सूर्य घर नि:शुल्क बिजली योजना को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रदेश की तीनों विद्युत वितरण कम्पनियों एवं टाटा पावर रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी के बीच शुक्रवार को विद्युत भवन में एमओयू किया गया। अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव (ऊर्जा) आलोक की मौजूदगी में विद्युत कम्पनियों की ओर से चेयरमैन डिस्कॉम्स सुश्री आरती डोगरा तथा टाटा पावर रिन्यूबल की तरफ से सीईओ एवं एमडी दीपेश नन्दा ने एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किए। कार्यक्रम में अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव आलोक ने कहा कि प्रदेश में पीएम सूर्यघर योजना में बड़ी संख्या में रजिस्ट्रेशन हो चुके हैं। टाटा पावर के साथ इस साझेदारी से डिस्कॉम्स को इन रजिस्ट्रेशन को इंस्टालेशन में बदलने में सहायता मिलेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा लक्ष्य आमजन को सौर ऊर्जा से जोड़कर बिजली खर्च से उन्हें मुक्ति दिलाना है।
