कड़ाके की सर्दी व शीतलहर के प्रकोप को देखते हुए कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ जिला कलेक्टर शुभम चौधरी ने आदेश जारी कर शीतकालीन अवकाश को आगे बढ़ाते हुए 13 जनवरी तक घोषित कर दिया है। जिले के सभी सरकारी व गैर सरकारी स्कूलों में 13 जनवरी तक आठवीं कक्षा तक के बच्चों का अवकाश रहेगा। इसके अगले दिन 14 जनवरी का रविवार व 15 को मकर संक्रांति का अवकाश होने से बच्चे अब 16 को ही विद्यालय पहुंचेंगे। आगामी दिनों में तापमान गिरने से सर्दी का प्रकोप बढऩे और शीतलहर चलने की संभावना को देखते जिला कलक्टर ने अवकाश के आदेश जारी किए हैं। हालांकि, इस अवधि में शिक्षकों एवं अन्य संचालित परीक्षाओं का समय यथावत रहेगा। कलेक्टर ने साफ कहा है कि आदेश की अवहेलना करने वाले राजकीय एवं निजी विद्यालयों के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्यवाही अमल में लाई जाएगी।
