अवैध शराब के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत सरुंड थाना पुलिस ने दो अलग-अलग मामलों में कुल 87 पव्वे अवैध देशी शराब बरामद कर दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पहली कार्रवाई में थानाधिकारी बाबूलाल के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम ने मीणों की ढाणी रोड पर पवन पुत्र लालचंद मेघवाल निवासी कल्याणपुर कलां को 39 पव्वे देशी शराब के साथ पकड़ा। पवन बिना लाइसेंस शराब बेचने के लिए ले जा रहा था। दूसरी कार्रवाई में पुलिस ने नारेहड़ा के पास कोटपूतली रोड से बलवंत सिंह पुत्र पूरण सिंह राजपूत निवासी नारेहड़ा को 48 पव्वे रॉयल देशी शराब के साथ गिरफ्तार किया। दोनों मामलों में आबकारी अधिनियम के तहत मुकदमे दर्ज कर जांच जारी है। पुलिस यह पता लगाने में जुटी है कि आरोपी यह शराब कहां से लाए और कहां सप्लाई करने जा रहे थे।
