समीप के शुक्लावास की ग्राम सेवा सहकारी समिति के व्यवस्थापक के खिलाफ फसली ऋण में गड़बड़ी और किसानों के साथ धोखाधड़ी के आरोप लगाते हुए ग्रामीणों ने एसडीएम कार्यालय पहुंचकर ज्ञापन सौंपा। शिकायतकर्ता विधवा महिला भगवती देवी ने आरोप लगाया कि उनके केसीसी खाते में स्वीकृत ऋण की राशि व्यवस्थापक द्वारा उनके हस्ताक्षर लेकर निकाल ली गई, लेकिन दो माह बाद भी उन्हें कोई भुगतान नहीं किया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि उनके दोनों पुत्र भारतीय सेना में तैनात हैं, फिर भी उन्हें लगातार टालमटोल कर मानसिक और आर्थिक रुप से प्रताडि़त किया जा रहा है। महिला ने यह भी कहा कि यह समस्या केवल उनकी नहीं है, बल्कि कई अन्य किसानों को भी तीन-तीन महीने तक भुगतान के लिए चक्कर काटने पड़ रहे हैं। सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता राधेश्याम शुक्लावास की अगुवाई में एसडीएम बृजेश चौधरी को ज्ञापन सौंपा गया। एसडीएम ने मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए व्यवस्थापक से मौके पर ही फोन पर बात की, जिस पर उन्होंने अगली सुबह राशि देने का आश्वासन दिया। इस दौरान ग्यारसीलाल आर्य, नंदाराम यादव, ओमप्रकाश सहित कई ग्रामीण किसान मौजूद रहे।
