शहर में लक्ष्मीनगर अंडरपास की मांग को लेकर चल रहे संघर्ष ने अब गंभीर मोड़ ले लिया है। लक्ष्मी नगर अंडरपास संघर्ष समिति की बैठक शनिवार को श्रीराम मंदिर में आयोजित की गई, जिसमें स्थानीय नागरिकों ने अपनी समस्याएं रखते हुए आगामी रणनीति पर विचार किया। बैठक की अध्यक्षता रामस्वरुप चौधरी ने की। समिति पिछले एक वर्ष से सरकार-प्रशासन से अंडरपास निर्माण की मांग कर रही है, लेकिन अब तक कोई ठोस कार्यवाही नहीं हुई। लोगों ने नाराजगी जताते हुए बताया कि अंडरपास नहीं होने के कारण करीब 5 किलोमीटर का चक्कर लगाकर मोलाहेड़ा कट से शहर जाना पड़ता है, जिससे समय और संसाधनों की भारी बर्बादी हो रही है। स्थानीय नागरिकों ने बताया कि उन्हें बाजार, अस्पताल, पशु चिकित्सालय, विद्यालय और प्रशासनिक कार्यालयों तक पहुंचने में काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता है। जो वैकल्पिक रास्ता मौजूद है, वह खतरनाक और जाम व हादसों से भरा रहता है। समिति के पदाधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट कहा कि यह केवल रास्ते का नहीं, बल्कि जनसुविधाओं व सम्मानजनक जीवन का मामला है। यदि जल्द ही अंडरपास निर्माण की दिशा में कदम नहीं उठाया गया, तो समिति बड़ा जनआंदोलन शुरु करेगी। मीटिंग में सचिव रघुवीर गोयल, उपाध्यक्ष रामेश्वर सैनी, कोषाध्यक्ष भीखाराम सैनी, शिंभूदयाल गर्ग, पूर्व पार्षद रामचंद्र सैनी, राजेंद्र सैनी, सारांश भूरानी, प्रेमचंद कुमावत, बाबूलाल, हुकमचंद, राजेश, गिरिराज, जितेंद्र व जलेंद्रा सहित अनेक लोग बैठक में उपस्थित रहे।
